How to install Lockage

1. 1. Open Lockage from the Shopify Apps page
2. 2. Accept our 7 day trial with monthly instalments
3. 3. Once the Lockage starts, you will see the Setup instructions
4. 4. Follow the instructions
5. 4.1 Install Lockage on your shop
6. 4.2 Assess your current themes compatibility
7. 4.3 Deploy Lockage on current theme
8. 5. Once you arrive on the Lockage homepage
9. 6. Set the age gate scope -
10. 6.1 Selected pages only, if you want the page to only appear on specific pages, please use the Vendors, Collections and Products tabs to target the correct products.
11. 6.2 All pages, will display the age restriction on all pages

How to apply Lockage to a theme

If you decide to change themes, you will need to deploy Lockage theme changes.

1. 1. Go to the Settings page
2. 2. Click on the Start Test button
3. 3. If successful, the “Deploy theme changes” button is enabled
4. 3.1. If unsuccessful, you might not be able to use Lockage as your shop is customised in a way Lockage wont understand.
5. 3.2. you may contact us to provide a custom solution
6. 4. Click on Deploy theme changes

How to uninstall Lockage

1. 1. Go to the Settings page
2. 2. Click on the “Remove theme changes”
3. 3. Go to the Shopify Apps page
4. 4. Click on the Delete button for Lockage

How to know if Lockage is compatible with my shop

1. 1. Go to the Settings page
2. 2. Click on the Start Test button
3. 3. If successful, the “Deploy theme changes” button is enabled
